Mrs. Jennifer Neese
Jen has homeschooled her own 6 children for 20 years. She has a degree in psychology with a minor in sociology and has worked as a children's caseworker as well as a family therapist. Currently, she is a Jesus-loving Pastor's wife and new grandmother in addition to her role as a mother. She sings on the worship team at Unite Church and loves reading, creative writing, and learning new things every day. She absolutely loves spending time with kids and believes that through them life becomes new and exciting! She loves watching them grow in their understanding of the world and particularly enjoys teaching them to read.

Ms. Maggie Neese
Maggie is an out-of-the-box thinker who believes that every student’s interaction with education should be fun. She has experience of teaching preschoolers as well as high school classes, such as history, theology and literature. She believes that hands-on and personal learning is just as important as text-book education. Having struggled with learning challenges, she understands students' learning difficulties, and is always up for a new way to solve a problem. Her hope is to help students understand subjects, build friendships with their classmates, and walk away from class time feeling smart, capable and strong.

Ms. Elspeth Allen
Elspeth Allen has a bachelors degree in physics. She rounded out her education in her family's dance studio and the piano; competing on the national and international level. She has been homeschooling her own children as well as teaching in co-ops for over a decade. Elspeth loves teaching to the individual strengths and weaknesses of students both one on one and in a group.

Mr. Jeremy Anderson
Jeremy Anderson grew up in Anchorage with his 7 siblings. He was homeschooled his entire K-12 educational career and is currently helping his wife as she homeschools their 6 children. Jeremy has a bachelor's degree in Biophysics and a Master's degree in educational leadership both from Brigham Young University, Provo. He has spent 11 years as an entrepreneur and small business owner, visited Africa, lived two years in Brazil, and speaks Brazilian Portuguese. If he wanted to sound cool in a bio his answer to "What one person alive today would most like to have a conversation with?" Would be "You." And if he were being honest, it would be Russel M. Nelson, or CoRene Anderson, depending on the day.

Mr. Pankion has spent decades in the classroom teaching a wide variety of students and a wide variety of subjects. His favorites include history and worldview. He is a longtime Alaska resident and is passionate about enriching the lives of his students so they may fully enjoy this life by understanding reality.

Mrs. Jessica Reid
Jessica Reid is a mom of seven, with an age range from 18-3, and joined the homeschooling community in 2017. Her perspective as a homeschool parent adds to her ability to support the parent in creating the educational opportunity that best fits your student. She and her husband, Parker, lived in several states before settling in Alaska in 2015. With a Bachelor’s degree in Biology and Developmental Physiology, Jessica brings a deep understanding of science to her teaching, making complex concepts accessible and exciting. She is particularly passionate about using hands-on demonstrations and labs to help her students grasp scientific principles through real-world experience. Jessica's approach encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for learning in every child she teaches.

Mrs. Ami Carroll
Ami Carroll has a bachelor’s degree in History with a minor in Psychology and an emphasis in Early Childhood Development. She operated a home daycare for 20 years and taught early literacy skills there. She also taught one year of math, history, and English at the middle school level. She is currently a homeschooling educator and has been doing that for nine years. She is passionate about instilling a love of learning into young children so that they develop into lifelong learners.

Mrs. Olivia Palovchik
Olivia Palovchik has a Bachelor’s Degree in special education for grades k-12 from Wright State University in Ohio. She has worked in the childcare and education field for 10 years. Olivia taught Life Skills at the high school level for two years. She enjoys teaching through social stories, hands on activities, and real-life examples. She is excited to share her love for learning with your students.

Mr. Ben Higgins
B.T. Higgins is an accomplished author of numerous books catering to middle-grade readers, as well as two non-fiction works addressing fatherhood and educational improvement. (Check out his newest work at bthiggins.substack.com). With a wealth of experience as a veteran classroom teacher spanning over fourteen years, B.T. also brings over a decade's worth of expertise in teaching homeschoolers of all ages. Leveraging his authorial background, B.T. is enthusiastic about infusing language arts education with creativity, relevance, and real-life connections. He is also a full time homeschool father.

Mrs. Tirsa Myler
Tirsa is a mother of six who has homeschooled for 17 years. She loves teaching and discovering the best ways to engage students using their learning style. She has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and has worked as a nurse for almost 20 years. She thinks math is fun, but also enjoys reading, fiber arts and being outdoors.

Mrs. Madai Pichardo
Madai Pichardo obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in social work from Florida Atlantic University in 2016, followed by her Master’s Degree at Barry University, Miami Shores in 2017. Madai brings with her social work experiences including but not limited to, foster care, substance abuse, anger management, individual and family therapy. She loved teaching at the Green Room south campus last year and building amazing relationships with the kids. Her favorite subjects to teach and learn are social studies and language arts. Madai is a self-proclaimed foodie and in her free time she enjoys things such as trying new restaurants, traveling with her family, hiking new trails, being out on the water, s’mores by a fire and worshipping with her faith family.
